It’s almost 8 weeks since I vacated the Chief Content Officer’s chair at ARN in Australia and I am passionate about audio and wanted a platform express my thought’s on radio, digital audio, media and related fields.

It’s almost 8 weeks since I vacated the Chief Content Officer’s chair at ARN in Australia and I am passionate about audio and wanted a platform express my thought’s on radio, digital audio, media and related fields.

They are views based on my experience in commercial radio over 40 years from a young announcer at aged 20 to a Chief Content Officer role in one of Australia’s biggest audio companies for the past 15 years. They are views from my perspective, my experience and hopefully they provide some food for thought.

I will post only when I have something to say and I will try and reply to any comments.

For those curious about the title “The 10th Caller” back in the day there was a time, pre-mobile and internet when almost every radio content’s method of entry was via phone and you would hear the announcer solicit for the contest by saying something like “be the 10th caller now on xxx for your chance to win” or “be caller 10 now on xxx…” hence the the title (Just my attempt to be clever)
